Spyro arrived at SSH on 3/28/2023. He's a shy boy at first but he loves kisses and snuggles. He doesn't mind kids or other dogs but he does not do good with cats.
Spyro is looking for a home with a fenced yard and maybe someone who would have an interest in obedience training classes. Spyro CAN climb trees so any trees with limbs lower than about 4 feet and near fencing would not be ideal for this guy.
He's really smart and loves when his people are proud of him. He loves to wrestle with other little dogs so another young dog in the household would be great or maybe a friend or family member with a small dog for play dates! He's VERY treat motivated.

Rolo arrived at SSH on 8/3/2023. He was born on the streets of Salem, OR and became neglected scavenger until he was rescued at around 6 months old.
He has adjusted well to being a family dog but you won't see it upon the first meeting. Rolo is cautious at first but once he's comfortable, you'll see his exuberant, goofy personality.
Rolo has learned how to use the doggy door to go potty as well as waiting in his crate for meals and bed time.
Rolo loves to play with other dogs but does not do well when food is involved. We suggest he go to a home where he can be an only-dog with play date privileges.

Thorne arrived at SSH on 3/6/2024. She's a bigger girl because of her mix but she's the perfect size for a growing family!
Thorne is great with kids of all ages, other dogs, and cats. She's timid around some men until she gets to know them.
Thorne loves to go for walks and on trips to the park. She enjoys spending time outside when it's sunny out but is not a big fan of snow or rain despite living in SE Idaho since birth.

Toby arrived at SSH on 3/23/2024. Everyone he has met says he is the sweetest dog. He's good with dogs, cats and kids and is very mellow.
He had a full dental cleaning with x-rays on 4/3/2024 and all of his teeth were in great condition. Despite his salt & pepper coloring, he's a young guy at only 4 years old.
Toby loves playing with toys, cuddling with his people and sun-bathing. He's a 10/10 good boy!
