Spyro arrived at SSH on 3/28/2023. He's a shy boy at first but he loves kisses and snuggles. He doesn't mind kids or other dogs but he does not do good with cats.
Spyro is looking for a home with a fenced yard and maybe someone who would have an interest in obedience training classes. Spyro CAN climb trees so any trees with limbs lower than about 4 feet and near fencing would not be ideal for this guy.
He's really smart and loves when his people are proud of him. He loves to wrestle with other little dogs so another young dog in the household would be great or maybe a friend or family member with a small dog for play dates! He's VERY treat motivated.

Nymeria (aka Mimi) arrived at SSH on 6/1/2024. Mimi came in as an unclaimed stray wandering the reservation. After several weeks, no one claimed her so we picked her up and brought her to SSH to save her life.
Mimi is so smart! She loves her Kong toy and her squeeky duck toy. She knows "Shake" and "Sit" and will try to befriend everyone wherever you take her. She gets a ton of compliments on how gorgeous and friendly she is.
Mimi would like an active home with a big backyard. She loves to be included in household activities.

Milo arrived at SSH on 6/8/2024. This poor baby has been through so much in his short time on this Earth. Milo was not exposed to the world outside of his home until coming into rescue.
He'll take a couple of days to settle into a new place and trust but once he does, his loyalty is unmatched. He's very loving and likes to keep his people in his sight.
Milo LOVES playing with other dogs his size. An ideal home for him would be with someone who works from home or a household where there's usually someone at home. He would also enjoy a family who can bring their dog along on adventures so he can learn that the outside world isn't such a scary place. Another dog in the household to learn from would be a great addition as well.

Ruru arrived at SSH on 7/11/2024. He loves everyone and is always eager to meet new people. He's very friendly with kids and is always wagging his tail.
He loves treats, car rides, and walks. He likes going on field trips to all of the dog-friendly stores.
He had a full dental cleaning on 7/18/2024 and was neutered and received all of his vaccines so he's all up-to-date until that time next year.

Squeaks arrived at SSH on 9/21/2024. She's timid at first but will become your BEST FRIEND in under a week.
Squeaks was dumped in Chubbuck in February 2024. Her previous owners clearly failed to socialize her (and another dumped dog), and decided to let her go with her harness and leash still attached.
This poor girl has come so far and loves and trusts so deeply once she realizes you're going to love her, not hurt her.

Mike Tyson (AKA Mikey) arrived at SSH on 9/25/2024. This boy is a fighter. He was surrendered to a Utah shelter because the owners could not afford veterinary care.
Under SSH, Mikey had a tumor on his foot removed. The pathology results showed it was benign and will not be a problem going forward. Unfortunately, one of his toes could not be saved due to the size of the tumor prior to removal.
Mikey also had a full dental cleaning with all necessary extractions on 10/1/2024. He is current on all vaccines as of 10/16/2024.
Mr. Mikey would love a quiet home where he can relax and get snuggles. He'd also like an area where he can sunbathe. He loves warmth whether it be from the sun or a big, fluffy blanket.
